Rogers Cartage Company is hiring an experienced Heavy Diesel Truck Mechanic to join our maintenance team at our Calera, AL terminal. This is a full-time, hourly role with strong benefits and growth potential.
What You’ll Do
- Perform maintenance and repairs on tractors, semi-trailers, and pneumatic tanks
- Diagnose and fix brakes, electrical systems, and preventative maintenance issues (PMs)
- Assist with engine diagnostics (a plus)
- Complete standard trailer repairs and routine inspections
- Use basic computer systems for diagnostics and reporting
- Full time schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of diesel mechanic/technician experience
- Skilled in tractor-trailer repairs and pneumatic tank systems
- You must provide your own tools and have reliable transportation
- Basic computer skills, required
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
