Academic Diagnostic Imager/Radiologist
Candidate appointment is at the Assistant Professor level at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. The faculty member will teach and supervise Radiology Residents and medical students as part of routine faculty responsibilities.
Responsibilities will primarily involve clinical care of patients as a Diagnostic Imager/Radiologist and a member of the UConn Medical Group, the faculty practice plan of the School of Medicine.
Expertise in a Radiologic subspecialty is preferred, but the candidate should be comfortable with, and will be expected to perform General Radiology duties as needed in CT, MR, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, and Plain Radiography.
The candidate may be assigned other additional duties and responsibilities as necessary (e.g. lectures, tumor boards, committee membership, community outreach, etc.).
Qualifications:
- American Board of Radiology certification in Diagnostic Radiology
- Competency in general Diagnostic Radiology
Preferred:
- Current State of CT medical license
- Completion of Fellowship in a Radiologic Subspecialty
