Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background and have experience in various settings. As an RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care, conducting assessments, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure the smooth operation of our adult day center.
Monday Through Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to coordinate patient care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Rhode Island.
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to educate adults with disabilities effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions under pressure.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and mental illness.
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
