Job Overview
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated professional who holds an NFPA-96 certification for Fire, Life, and Safety (must be already certified) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and compliant operation of fire suppression and ventilation systems in accordance with national safety standards. Your expertise will help maintain a secure environment by overseeing fire safety procedures, conducting inspections, and supporting system design and installation projects related to fire protection. Duties
- Conduct comprehensive inspections of fire suppression systems, ventilation hoods, and exhaust systems following NFPA-96 standards to ensure compliance and safety.
- Oversee the installation, maintenance, and testing of fire sprinkler fittings, alarm systems, and related fire safety equipment in construction sites or existing facilities.
- Collaborate with construction teams to integrate fire safety measures into building designs and renovation projects.
- Perform system design reviews for fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure they meet all regulatory requirements and client specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on fire safety protocols during construction inspections and system upgrades.
- Assist in sales activities related to fire alarm systems and fire alarm sales by demonstrating compliance features and system benefits to clients.
- Maintain detailed documentation of inspections, system modifications, compliance reports, and service records for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Must hold an active NFPA-96 certification for Fire, Life, and Safety (certified already).
- Proven experience in security systems, including alarm system sales and fire alarm installations.
- Strong knowledge of system design principles for fire suppression, alarm systems, and ventilation solutions.
- Hands-on experience with construction inspection processes related to fire safety equipment installation.
- Skilled in fire sprinkler fitting techniques with a thorough understanding of relevant codes and standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with contractors, clients, and emergency responders effectively.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations accurately.
