Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead our shop operations with energy and precision. You will oversee keeping the shop area clean and organized, check equipment and materials in and out, and maintain equipment, making minor repairs or sending out for repair as needed. Your leadership will drive productivity, uphold safety standards, and foster a positive work environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, familiar with basic mechanical repair, and possesses good communication skills. Duties
- Supervise daily shop operations, including inventory management, stocking, merchandising, and equipment maintenance
- Lead, train, and develop team members in product knowledge and operational procedures
- Oversee purchasing activities, pricing strategies, and inventory control to ensure stock availability and cost efficiency
- Enforce safety protocols and workplace policies to maintain a secure environment for staff
Experience
- Proven experience in shop environments
- Proven experience in machine or engine repair
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently
- Experience with supervisory responsibilities is a plus
