Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) with a strong interest or experience in wound care to join our growing team. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and manage patients with complex wounds, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and implement treatment plans to promote healing and prevent complications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive wound assessments and document findings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Perform procedures such as debridement, biopsies, and dressing changes as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Monitor healing progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license (NP) in California.
- National certification (AANP, ANCC).
- Wound care certification (WOCN, CWCN, or similar) preferred but not required.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and travel between patient locations.
