Toyota of El Cajon is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and posting vehicle deals while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely funding.

Process and post 250+ vehicle deals per month

Review deal paperwork for accuracy and compliance

Post daily bank funding transactions

Calculate sales commissions for payroll processing

Process daily flooring payoffs for sold vehicles

Perform end-of-month vehicle count and verification
-
Issue deal-related check requests
-
Post factory program monies and reserve entries
-
Verify sales tax calculations and provide backup for sales tax exceptions

Research and reconcile accounting schedules, including:

New and used vehicle inventory

Reserves
-
Due bills
-
Contracts in transit (CIT)
-
Attend and participate in weekly CIT meetings
Base hourly compensation ranging from $25.00 to $31.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Minimum 2 years Automotive Accounting Experience (Tekion preferred)

Proficient in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, & Outlook).

Strong accounting skills

Ability to multitask within a Multi Store environment

Ability to work closely in a Departmentalized Team environment.

Must be highly organized, have excellent follow-up and be able to prioritize tasks.
