Printing Nest is seeking a friendly, confident, and detail-oriented Customer Experience Assistant to support our growing commercial printing and marketing operations.
This is a hybrid role that combines graphic design, production, and customer interaction. You will work directly with walk-in clients, assist with project inquiries, and help bring ideas to life through design and print. Previous graphic design knowledge is not required, we will train you.
We’re looking for someone who is not just creative, but also comfortable talking to people, asking questions, and guiding customers.
This is ideal for students who want real-world experience in both design AND client communication, not just working behind a screen.
Responsibilities:
- Assist walk-in customers with orders, questions, and basic guidance
- Communicate with clients in-person, by phone, and via email
- Set up files with proper bleeds, outlines, and formatting
- Assist with printing, cutting, laminating, and finishing
- Help organize and manage active production jobs
- Support light administrative tasks
- Occasional local deliveries or supply pickups
- Assist with installations when needed
- Design and prepare print-ready files using Adobe Illustrator (will be trained)
Required Qualifications:
- Strong communication and people skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers in person and over the phone
- Valid driver’s license
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Retail, customer service, or sales experience
- Adobe Illustrator experience
- Interest in marketing, branding, or business
- Basic knowledge of print production
- Strong organizational skills
- Confident, outgoing personality

Schedule
Flexible scheduling to accommodate class schedules
20-30 hours per week
Compensation
$16.90–$25.00/hour depending on experience
