This position exists for the purpose of teaching undergraduate level courses in mathematics and assisting the Chair in overseeing the curriculum and adjuncts who teach mathematics.
An ability to teach a wide range of remedial, developmental and college mathematics courses in diverse modalities.
A high degree of professionalism while motivating and educating students in an engaging manner to help them understand the ways in which mathematics applies to the shaping of their thought processes, their future careers, and their biblical worldview.
Use of technology in instruction.
Proficiency as a communicator in written and oral formats.
An ability to work with colleagues on institutional projects.
Capability of leading adjuncts both by example and through casting a vision for teaching writing at Lancaster Bible College | Capital Seminary and Graduate School.
An ability to design instruction.
An ability to develop new courses.
A desire to mentor students outside the classroom.
Proficiency with word processing, general computer skills, and LBC | Capital’s instructional technologies (i.e., Learning Management System, Video Conferencing, etc.).
