We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the onsite project team through all
phases of construction. The APM will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and ownership representatives to
help ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting multifamily, podium, mixed-use, or large-scale residential construction projects and
possess strong technical knowledge of construction documentation and project controls.
Key Responsibilities

Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day administration and coordination of construction activities.

Prepare, track, and manage RFIs, submittals, ASIs, change orders, and other project documentation.

Support construction efforts from sitework and foundations through building turnover and closeout.

Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and project stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution and maintain project momentum.

Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for scope compliance and constructability.

Participate in owner, architect, and subcontractor coordination meetings and distribute meeting minutes and action items.

Assist with schedule updates, procurement tracking, and budget monitoring.

Track project costs, change management activities, and progress reporting.

Support quality control initiatives and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.

Maintain project logs, document control systems, and reporting requirements.

Assist with project closeout activities, including punch list management, turnover documentation, warranties, and O&M manuals.
Required Qualifications

Minimum 3+ years of Assistant Project Manager experience supporting ground-up multifamily, mixed-use, Sr. housing, or commercial construction projects.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and project administration.

Experience managing RFIs, submittals, change orders, and document control workflows.

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction management platforms.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented construction environment.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Experience on multifamily, Sr. living, podium, or mixed-use developments.
-
Experience supporting projects valued at $50M+.

Familiarity with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar project management software.

Exposure to structured parking, residential podium construction, or healthcare-related facilities is a plus.

Local knowledge of Bay Area construction practices and permitting processes.

Ideal Candidate
Candidates should come from a multifamily construction, with experience supporting ground-up residential, podium,
mixed-use, Sr. housing, or large-scale housing developments. Experience limited to tenant improvements or non-residential sectors is less preferred for
this opportunity.

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
