Job Description: After School Teacher
Our program is looking for an experienced teacher to join our team.
Duties:
- Deliver engaging activities for our afterschool students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students.
- Implement behavior management strategies to promote a safe and respectful classroom environment.
- Organize and supervise extracurricular activities such as theater productions, sports coaching, or tutoring sessions.
-Drive our small 13 passenger bus to pick up students from local elementary schools, as well as drive on field trips when schools are out of session. (This is NOT required, but preferred).
Qualifications:
- Experience working in Early Childhood or Elementary Education.
- Experience working with students in a before and after school program, daycare or babysitting setting is an asset.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics and student behavior.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.

This position could be a full time shift (9am to 6pm) or part time (12pm-6pm) Monday through Friday. If full time, teachers help support in our preschool and toddler classroom during the day.
