Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our dynamic finance team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Duties
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations using accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and other financial systems
- Record journal entries, process payroll, and handle accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision
- Reconcile bank statements, general ledger accounts, and balance sheets regularly to ensure accuracy
- Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, cash flow reports, and budget analyses
- Conduct account analysis and account reconciliation to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and organizational accounting standards
- Assist with month-end closing procedures, including double-entry bookkeeping and ledger maintenance
Experience
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role within corporate or non-profit organizations
- Extensive knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks (including QuickBooks Online), Xero, Sage, and other financial tools
- Strong understanding of financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation, and bank reconciliation
- Familiarity with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable management, and account analysis
- Experience working with spreadsheets for budgeting, data analysis, and reporting purposes
- Knowledge of GAAP standards and accounting regulations relevant to organizational compliance
- Prior experience in public accounting or working within organizations that utilize multiple accounting systems is a plus

Pay: $26.55 - $31.98 per hour
