As a Housekeeping/Laundry Aide, you will play a vital role in ensuring a clean, sanitary, and comfortable living environment for residents while supporting daily laundry operations.
Perform resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning according to facility standards
Dust, sanitize, disinfect, wipe, and scrub beds, walls, furniture, fixtures, and high-touch surfaces
Clean resident bathrooms, common areas, offices, and facility corridors
Follow infection control and safety procedures
Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other housekeeping supplies as needed
Keep housekeeping carts organized, stocked, and ready for daily assignments
Complete daily housekeeping projects and scheduled cleaning assignments
Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
Wash, dry, fold, sort, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry department
Report maintenance, safety, and supply concerns to leadership
Support a positive resident experience through exceptional customer service
Previous housekeeping, laundry, environmental services, janitorial, custodial, hospitality, hotel housekeeping, healthcare housekeeping, or cleaning experience preferred
Commercial laundry experience preferred
Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, assisted living, or healthcare experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable attendance and a positive attitude
Ability to lift, push, pull, and move laundry carts and housekeeping equipment
