Job Title: Independent Contractor / Handyman
Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled independent contractor to perform a variety of residential and commercial repair, maintenance, and renovation tasks. Responsibilities include window installation and repair, drywall repair and replacement, roofing repairs, door installation and repair, lock changes, plumbing repairs, and general property maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and replace windows and window components.
- Repair, patch, finish, and install drywall.
- Perform minor roof repairs, leak repairs, and shingle replacement.
- Install, repair, and adjust interior and exterior doors.
- Change, repair, and install locks, deadbolts, and door hardware.
- Install, repair, and replace toilets and perform basic plumbing repairs.
- Complete general carpentry, trim work, and minor remodeling projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair common property maintenance issues.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Communicate project status and recommendations to clients.
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction, maintenance, remodeling, or handyman services.
- Knowledge of carpentry, drywall, roofing, plumbing, and door hardware installation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Own tools, transportation, and valid driver's license preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment.
