Duties
- Install, rotate, balance, and repair tires to ensure optimal vehicle handling and safety
- Perform oil changes and replace automotive fluids such as coolant, transmission fluid, and brake fluid with precision
- Conduct vehicle inspections to identify mechanical issues and recommend necessary repairs or maintenance
- Assist with wheel alignments to improve vehicle stability and tire longevity
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for various mechanical tasks and repairs
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing customer questions confidently
Skills
- Previous dealership or automotive service experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanic background with knowledge of automotive diagnostics and mechanical repair techniques
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive maintenance equipment
- Familiarity with automotive fluid replacement procedures and tire service operations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during tire installation or other maintenance tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to troubleshoot vehicle issues efficiently
- Experience in automotive diagnostics, alignments, oil changes, and general vehicle maintenance is a plus
- Service technician experience that demonstrates reliability and technical competence
