HireCall is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector for a manufacturing opportunity in the Tulsa area. This position is ideal for someone with a strong quality background who is comfortable working with blueprints, precision measuring equipment, and inspection documentation.
Pay & Schedule

$20–$25/hour, based on experience

Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
-
Fridays available for overtime
-
Quality inspection area is cooler than the main shop environment
Responsibilities
-
Perform inspections on purchased, fabricated, machined, welded, painted, and assembled materials and components
-
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, patterns, templates, and specifications
-
Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments and inspection equipment

Perform gage control and calibration of company and employee-owned measuring tools
-
Identify measuring equipment within the calibration system and maintain accurate calibration records

Apply shop math, including Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Maintain proper material identification and traceability throughout the inspection process

Complete required inspection records and quality reports

Identify and report discrepancies, defects, or other production and quality concerns
-
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Experience & Qualifications
-
1–3 years of ISO 9001 experience

Previous quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Experience using precision measuring instruments

Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Word

Ability to read and understand written instructions and follow verbal directions
Preferred Experience
-
Knowledge of metal fabrication, machining, and welding
-
Experience operating a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
-
Familiarity with inspection and calibration processes in a manufacturing environment
