Are you an experienced Quality Inspector with a background in electro-mechanical manufacturing? Do you enjoy working with precision assemblies, engineering drawings, and inspection equipment to ensure products meet the highest quality standards?
We're looking for a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on complex electro-mechanical assemblies in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections on electro-mechanical assemblies
- Inspect products using visual and mechanical inspection methods
- Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, Bills of Material (BOMs), and engineering documentation
- Use precision measuring tools including calipers, micrometers, multimeters, scales, pin gauges, and feeler gauges
- Complete inspection reports and document quality findings
- Identify and properly disposition non-conforming material
- Verify products meet customer, engineering, and workmanship standards
- Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to maintain product quality
- 3+ years of Quality Inspection experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing
- Experience performing First Article Inspections (FAI)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
- Experience using precision inspection equipment
- Knowledge of inspection reporting and documentation
- Understanding of non-conforming material processes
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Working knowledge of IPC-A-620 workmanship standards
- Experience inspecting complex cable assemblies, electrical panels, or electro-mechanical assemblies
- Experience supporting ISO or regulated manufacturing environments
