We are currently seeking reliable, customer-focused individuals to join our Outside Services team as a Starter and/or Ranger. This role is essential in maintaining pace of play, course standards, customer service, and overall golf course operations.

Position Responsibilities:
Starter Responsibilities

Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner
-
Manage tee times and ensure groups start on schedule
-
Communicate daily course conditions, pace of play expectations, and course policies
-
Help organize the first tee and maintain smooth operations throughout the day
Ranger Responsibilities
-
Monitor pace of play throughout the golf course
-
Keep groups on schedule and politely address slow play when necessary
-
Assist golfers with locating holes, understanding course flow, and maintaining pace
-
Enforce golf course rules, policies, and dress code respectfully and professionally
-
Report issues, safety concerns, customer complaints, or violations to Golf Shop staff
-
Maintain a visible and active presence throughout the course during the entire shift
Qualifications:

Friendly, outgoing, and professional attitude

Strong communication and customer service skills

Clear and professional communication with guests and staff

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Interest or knowledge of golf preferred, but not required
-
Dependable, punctual, and responsible
-
Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Course Standards & Expectations:
Staff in this role will assist in reinforcing the following -
USGA Rules govern all play
4-hour pace of play
Cart path rules on Par 3 holes
Out of bounds defined by white stakes
No outside alcoholic beverages permitted
Dress code must be followed at all times
