Overview
We are a wedding venue looking for hardworking and reliable individuals to join our team as Grounds Crew and Event Set Up Associates. This role plays a vital part in maintaining our estate's appearance and ensuring that all events run smoothly. You will divide your time between exterior grounds maintenance and setting up for various events. Your hands-on role will be vital in setting the stage for successful events while keeping outdoor spaces pristine and organized.
Responsibilities
- Event Setup: Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, including arranging tables, chairs, and other equipment to meet event specifications.
- Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the appearance of outdoor grounds by performing landscaping tasks including mowing, trimming, weed whacking and leaf removal on the estate grounds.
- Support Event Staff: Transporting supplies, equipment, and materials across the venue efficiently.
- Site Cleanliness: Trash removal, pressure washing, painting, and minor repairs.
- Seasonal Tasks: Assisting with snow removal or leaf cleanup as needed.
Skills
- Ability to operate basic groundskeeping tools and equipment safely.
- Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly with team members and event staff.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform outdoor tasks in various weather conditions.
- Flexible schedule. Weekends and some evenings required.
Pay: $13.00 - $22.00 per hour
