Mechanical/Piping Inspector (PEI)
Location: Deer Park, TX
Payrate: $35–$45/hr DOE
Join a leading global energy company as a Mechanical/Piping Inspector (Pressure Equipment Integrity - PEI) supporting refinery and petrochemical projects. This onsite contract role is ideal for experienced inspectors with a background in pressure equipment, piping, QA/QC, welding, and construction inspection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect pressure vessels, process piping, tanks, valves, and static equipment.
- Witness welding, NDT, hydrostatic/leak testing, and verify material traceability.
- Ensure compliance with ASME, API, AWS, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Review inspection documentation, test packs, punch lists, and support commissioning and turnover activities.
Requirements:
- Experience in refinery, petrochemical, chemical plant, or industrial construction inspection.
- Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, welding, NDT, and QA/QC practices.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license required.
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
