GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Maintain the quality of products produced through inspection, proper documentation, and routine quality checks.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists in maintaining plant conformance of ISO 9001 standards;
- Receive, copy, and distribute blue prints;
- Perform first piece inspections;
- Documentation control for Quality Department;
- Inspect data sheets and properly file them;
- Maintain and update eight filing systems;
- Train production operators on how to use calipers and micrometers;
- Perform backup rounds to inspect all machines;
- Part disposition;
- Generate project list of what needs to be done;

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A high school education; or at least two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
