Medical Assistant/ Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday (No nights or weekends)
Location: Hyannis and Falmouth offices
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our busy Allergy & Asthma Center. The LPN will play a key role in providing high-quality patient care, assisting providers with allergy and asthma management, and supporting daily clinical operations in an outpatient setting.
Responsibilities
- Administer allergy immunotherapy injections per protocol
- Monitor patients for adverse reactions and respond appropriately
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and medical history documentation
- Assist providers with allergy testing, asthma evaluations, and treatments
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and injection schedules
- Maintain accurate medical records in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Follow infection control, safety, and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure efficient patient flow
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Willing to train the right Candidate as a Medical Assistant
- Previous outpatient or clinical experience preferred (allergy/asthma experience a plus, but willing to train)
- Strong assessment and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable with injections and patient monitoring
