Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Builder & Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role involves operating heavy equipment, managing materials, and supporting, assembly line, shipping and receiving functions. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience, mechanical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities
- Hour of work from 8am to 430pm, hours may be adjusted periodically
- Work in the assembly area for assembly of cabinets.
- Safely operate forklifts, clamp trucks, order pickers, and other heavy equipment such as cranes and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
- Perform order picking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to fulfill shipping orders accurately
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control
- Handle heavy lifting tasks and materials handling activities in accordance with OSHA guidelines and up to 50 pounds. Requires standing for long period of time.
- Support warehouse distribution activities including load & unload operations and materials organization
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to OSHA regulations and mechanical best practices during equipment operation
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
- Support warehouse management system updates and inventory management tasks as needed
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment in a warehouse setting
- Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, order picking, and materials handling procedures
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is preferred
- Previous warehouse supervisor or leadership experience is a plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Prior experience with Lean / Continuous improvement programs a benefit
- Prior working knowledge of ERP and warehouse inventory software systems such as ODOO and Netsuite
- Valid certification for forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory if training can be provided
- Strong team player with positive attitude and focused on making the business successful

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
