Ground Maintenance Laborer
Job Description:
Local contractor seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Grounds Maintenance Laborer.
Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Mowing, weeding, tree trimming, hedge pruning, edging, blowing, etc.
- Operate vehicles and various equipment as required.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
Mandatory
- One years ground maintenance experience.
- Basic knowledge of heavy equipment capabilities and operations.
- Required to pass a Federal Background Investigation.
- Possess a valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Must be a US citizen or lawful permanent resident.
Preferred
- Technical experience and/or training in small engine repair.
- Possess basic mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge with regards to small gasoline and diesel engines and various landscaping and grounds keeping power equipment.
