Tom Ottery Transit, Inc. is a Family Owned Company that has been servicing the dairy industry for over 75 years. We run a Fleet of 26 trucks Mack, Volvo, Western Star & Kenworth as well as 40 Food Grade Kosher tankers that we operate throughout the Midwest. We haul Dairy Products such as Raw Milk, Cream and Whey, we have local Farm Routes that pickup milk from multiple farms as well as Direct Ship Farms that we service with our Direct Ship Tankers. We have our own shop onsite that handles all of our truck and trailer maintenance, repairs and inspections in house. Our facility is based just outside of Fond du lac, WI on County Road UU.
We currently have one position open for a Full Time Class A Tanker Local Driver, this position would consist of delivering loads of Raw milk from our Fond du lac facility direct to processing plants throughout Wisconsin. These runs average 200-300 miles per day (Average 8-9 hour day), guaranteed 40 hours per week. All Full time drivers have their own assigned Truck. Starting pay for this position is $26.00 per hour, with a review after 90 days.
Schedule would be Monday - Friday (7-8am-2-4pm) with "WEEKENDS OFF"
Must be willing to work Holiday's that land on your normal work days.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 2 years driving experience with CDL Class A/Tanker
- Current Fed Med Card
- No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 3 years
- DUI, DWI and other more severe offenses considered after 5 years from the date of conviction
Starting pay: $26.00 per hour
