Lawn Maintenance Laborer / Crew Leader
Tip Top Lawn & Landscape is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our team. We are hiring for a Lawn Maintenance Laborer/Crew Leader who takes pride in quality work and enjoys working outdoors.
Duties
- Perform lawn mowing, edging, trimming, blowing, and general landscape maintenance
- Drive a truck and trailer
- Lead and work alongside a crew to complete daily routes efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction
- Operate and care for landscaping equipment safely
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members
Requirements:
- Lawn maintenance experience
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather
- Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
- Leadership experience is a plus, but we're willing to train the right person
Useful Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment and power tools.
- Experience with lawn care techniques
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices such as planting, pruning, irrigation setup, and lawn care.
- Familiarity with landscaping design principles and hardscape installation methods.
- Ability to operate hand tools safely and efficiently for various tasks.
- Experience with excavators or similar construction machinery for larger landscaping projects.
- Understanding of plant/tree care practices including trimming and removal for safety and health purposes.
- Basic horticulture knowledge to identify plant needs and promote healthy growth.
