Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care: Assist veterinarians in various medical procedures, surgeries, and treatments to provide high-quality care to our patients.
2. Diagnostic Procedures: Perform and analyze diagnostic tests, including blood work, urinalysis, and radiography.
3. Client Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with pet owners by providing clear and compassionate communication regarding their pet's health and treatment plans.
4. Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records of our patients, ensuring completeness and organization.
5. Assist in Surgery: Prepare surgical suites, assist during procedures, and provide post-operative care.
6. Education: Educate pet owners about preventive care, medication administration, and post-treatment instructions.
Qualifications:
1. Certification: Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or equivalent qualification.
2. Experience: Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
3. Technical Skills: Proficiency in using veterinary medical equipment and technology.
4. Team Player: Collaborative mindset and ability to work seamlessly with the veterinary team and support staff.
