Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality beverages such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks with skill and consistency
- Serve and inform customers about our gelato made fresh daily on site
- Operate POS system
- Handle retail sales transactions, including cash handling, credit card processing, and providing correct change using retail math skills
- Greet customers warmly, take their orders promptly, and serve beverages with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food handling stations, counters, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
- Previous barista experience or café experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with beverage preparation and serving techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
- Basic math proficiency for processing cash transactions accurately and managing retail math calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
