We are seeking a dynamic and safety-conscious CDL Class A Driver to join our transportation team! In this vital role, you will operate tractor-trailers to transport freight efficiently Monday -- Friday 7PM --3AM No Touch Freight Drop & HOOK Local home every night
Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary, ensuring cargo integrity and security.
- Drive various types of trailers including refrigerated units, flatbeds, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks based on operational needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to identify mechanical issues or safety concerns before and after each journey.
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times while minimizing fuel consumption and vehicle wear.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and resolve any issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including route driving
- MUST HAVE HAZMAT & TANKER ENDORSEMENT
- 2 YEARS EXP
Pay: $265.00 per day
