2-Year-Old Teacher – Full-Time
Friendship Corner Christian Preschool
Do you have a passion for working with toddlers and helping them grow in a loving, Christ-centered environment? Friendship Corner Christian Preschool is seeking a caring, energetic, and compassionate 2-Year-Old Teacher to join our team beginning August 3, 2026.
Our preschool offers low teacher-to-child ratios, a supportive team environment, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on young children's lives through play, learning, and faith.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- CPR and First Aid Certified or willing to obtain certification
- Ability to pass a DFPS background check
- Meet all Texas Child Care Licensing requirements
- Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Demonstrate Christian values through words and actions
- A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young children
Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, loving, and engaging classroom environment for 2-year-olds
- Foster children's social, emotional, physical, spiritual, and cognitive development
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lessons and activities that encourage learning through play
- Follow all licensing regulations and Friendship Corner Christian Preschool policies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's daily experiences and development
Position Details
- Full-Time: Monday–Friday
- Pay: $16.00–$18.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
- Start Date: August 3, 2026
School Hours
- School Year: 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Summer: 7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
