- Operate grounds maintenance and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems safely and efficiently.
- Identify various plants, trees, and shrubs to advise clients on proper care and landscape design options.
- Manage irrigation systems to optimize water use and maintain healthy landscapes.
- Assist customers by providing detailed information about landscaping services, plant selection, and maintenance solutions to support their outdoor projects.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all outdoor work activities to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Support snow plowing or seasonal clean-up tasks as needed to keep properties pristine year-round.
Requirements
- Proven outdoor work experience with knowledge of landscape maintenance, gardening, and groundskeeping practices.
- Mechanical knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment operation is essential.
- Strong understanding of horticulture principles, plant identification, pest management (including pesticide application), and hardscape features.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as mowing, tree trimming, snow plowing, and general grounds upkeep.
