Key Responsibilities (Fremont, CA - Onsite Only)
- Procurement & Sourcing:
- Acquire raw materials, electronic components, and equipment necessary for the manufacturing of cable solutions.
- Prepare and manage vendor Request for Quotations (RFQs) and overall quotation processes.
- Develop, implement, and manage strategic procurement strategies for all required materials, components, and equipment.
- Source new suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure optimal quality, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery.
- Process Management:
- Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement to support business success.
- Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs), place Purchase Orders (POs), and oversee the entire end-to-end procurement cycle.
- Monitor supplier performance and cultivate long-term, strategic relationships with key suppliers.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and comprehensive documentation.
- Inventory & Coordination:
- Manage inventory levels effectively to meet production demands while actively minimizing excess stock.
- Resolve material disputes, including those related to Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).
- Liaise and coordinate closely with Manufacturing and Program Management teams to accurately identify and fulfill procurement needs and requirements.
- Offer guidance and advice on purchasing matters to team members and technical staff.
- Miscellaneous: Perform other assigned duties as needed.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Three to five years of progressive professional purchasing experience, specifically in cable assembly and electronic manufacturing.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (MISys preferred) and the MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical capabilities, organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and guide diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of international and domestic logistics.

Benefits
- The base salary for this position is estimated to range from $55,000 to $85,000.
- The final starting salary is determined by evaluating several key factors, including the candidate's relevant skills, professional experience, and the geographic location of the role. This ensures a fair and competitive compensation package that is aligned with both the candidate's qualifications and current local market conditions.
