Role Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and passionate Registered Behavioral Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to improving special education and mental health. As a Behavioral Technician, you will provide clinical skills instruction and behavior reduction protocols based on Applied Behavior Analysis principles to children with Autism and related developmental disabilities in an in-clinic setting. Your role will involve collecting data on programs, assisting with parent training, and supporting clinical assessments as needed. You will work in a supportive clinical environment, helping children reach their individual potential and managing various administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement 1:1 direct ABA techniques in-clinic settings.
- Apply treatment plans created by the supervising BCBA and collaborate with other team members.
- Instruct, motivate, and assist clients in learning and improving functional activities.
- Accurately collect and compile behavioral data on client responses to treatments.
- Communicate confidently and professionally with behavioral support staff, educators, and parents.
- Travel to multiple locations as needed throughout the workday.
- Work variable hours, including potential evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Human Behavior, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience working with children in an ABA setting or special education classroom.
- Willingness and ability to work with clients in Scottsdale, AZ.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, insurance, and smartphone.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Passion for serving children with special needs.
- Enjoyment of working in a team-based, collegial environment.

Pay: $24.00 per hour
