Essential Job functions
The Marketer is the point person responsible for the growth and future business of Advanced. This will be achieved by consistency of quality touches and relationships through site visits, emails, phone calls and gatherings. All the while having the confidence to ask for the business in a moral and ethical manner.
Critical Drivers
- 8-12 Visits and 5-10 calls a day.
- 4 Lunch & Learn/meet and greets/ small gatherings per month
- 13-25 notes per day. List of personal interests from customers using the FORD method.
KPI
- Total sales from customers (goal set each Qrt)
- MNT sales from customers (goal set each Qrt)
- Opportunities (goal set each Qrt)
Responsibilities
- Emails -
- The format should have a “call to action”
- You should have 5 - 10 emails a day.
- Follow up from the days activity
- Phone calls -
- Should have 5 - 10 phone calls a day
- Purpose of the call?
- Site visits
- Should be able to do 10 to 15 visits a day
- Cycle visit every 4 to 6 weeks
- Who is the decision maker in these visits? Did we get this into our CRM? Did we make them part of our visits? Use the FORD method to get to know them and enter this info into the CRM.
- Discuss our value, their pain points, current challenges, and future budgets. Not sure this is a good idea.
- When getting closer to doing work for a property, write up a do’s and don’ts summary for the property to share with the team when we get jobs.
- Gatherings
- Attending Industry functions and associations
- Advanced sponsored events (I.e. sporting events, golf, etc.)
- Social outings after hours with current or potential customers.
- 1 special event a week.
- Lunch & Learns
- 1 per month (Property Managers, Property staff, Maintenance staff, Regional team)
- Each event will have a recap of the event sent to the team
- Monthly recap meeting
- Schedule a monthly recap to go over jobs for the month
- Review total sales by customer.
- Set targets for the upcoming Month.
- CRM Data entry
- Data entry from daily activity into the CRM (ALN and or Xcelerate)
- Professional and Punctual
- Dress in a professional manner that is appropriate for the environment. You will need to use your best judgment, look around you, and make sure you are dressed appropriately.
- Always pick up the phone and immediately follow up on every email and text.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
