Overview
We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and dedicated Pilates and Gyrotonic Instructor to join our dynamic fitness team. The ideal candidate will have a strong professional background in both Pilates and Gyrotonic training, with a minimum of five years of teaching experience.
This role requires a commitment to helping clients achieve their health, mobility, strength, and wellness goals through personalized instruction, motivation, and exceptional client care. The instructor will create a welcoming and inclusive environment that encourages clients of all fitness levels to engage confidently in their wellness journey.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective private, semi-private, and group Pilates and Gyrotonic sessions.
- Provide clear instruction while ensuring clients maintain proper form, alignment, breathing, and technique.
- Develop customized workout programs based on each client’s needs, abilities, limitations, and fitness goals.
- Assess and monitor client progress and provide constructive feedback to improve performance and results.
- Modify exercises and programs to accommodate different fitness levels, injuries, mobility concerns, and physical limitations.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and professional workout environment in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates and Gyrotonic training.
- Support client retention by delivering exceptional service and building strong professional relationships.
- Collaborate with other fitness and wellness professionals to develop integrated training programs.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development to remain current with industry trends, techniques, and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Current certification as a Pilates Instructor.
- Current certification or formal training as a Gyrotonic Instructor.
- A minimum of five years of professional teaching experience in Pilates or Gyrotonic instruction.
- Experience teaching private sessions and group fitness classes.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, posture, alignment, mobility, and injury prevention.
- Ability to create safe and effective programs for clients with varying fitness levels and physical needs.
- Experience in personal training, rehabilitation-focused exercise, sports coaching, or related fitness disciplines is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fitness sales, client relationship management, and retention strategies is preferred.
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and support clients while fostering a positive community atmosphere.
