We are seeking an experienced, responsible, energetic, and compassionate Preschool/Childcare Teacher who loves working with children, to join our dedicated team.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, nutrition, and playtime.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that meets CCQ code requirements and encourages exploration and learning.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support children holistically through communication.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies.
- Conduct brief assessments to monitor student progress in all areas of development.
- Maintain the physical and emotional health of all students.
- Assist children with feeding and diapering.
- Maintain active supervision of multiple children in a group setting.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay current in early childhood education trends.

- Maintain daily records via Procare.
- Must be punctual and reliable.
- Supportive, positive, and a patient demeanor.
- Physically able to lift children when needed.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A nurturing demeanor combined with strong organizational skills to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education with CDA credentials and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. This role involves developing and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans that promote the faith based social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development of preschool-aged children.
Must: be able to pass an in depth background check, has a Highschool Degree or GED, and needs a State issued ID.
Work Schedule:
Full time schedule: Monday - Friday starting at 8:30 am through 5.30 pm. One hour of break. The hours and times may vary due to the daily Student to Staff ratio.
Part time schedule: The hours and times may vary due to the daily Student to Staff ratio.
