Online Voice Teacher / Vocal Coach
Remote | Part-Time Independent Contractor (1099)
We’re looking for a warm, skilled voice teacher / vocal coach to join our remote teaching team.
You’ll work primarily with school-age singers (7+) and adults at beginner–intermediate levels. We’re looking for a teacher who can make lessons encouraging, structured, and enjoyable while helping students build healthy vocal technique, confidence, and expressive performance skills.
You Will
- Teach private online voice lessons through Zoom or a similar video platform.
- Assess each student’s current level, vocal goals, and learning needs; create simple, achievable lesson plans.
- Build strong foundations in breathing, vocal coordination, pitch, resonance, registration, tone, and healthy technique.
- Help students explore styles such as pop, musical theatre, worship, singer-songwriter, classical, and contemporary commercial music.
- Prepare students for recitals, auditions, competitions, worship teams, school performances, recordings, or personal goals.
- Provide clear weekly practice assignments and brief lesson notes after each session.
- Communicate professionally with students, parents, and our studio team.

What You Bring
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in Voice, Vocal Performance, Music, Music Education, Theatre, or a related field.
- Master’s degree in a related field preferred, but not required.
- Experience teaching private voice lessons online or in person.
- Ability to teach singers at the beginner–intermediate level.
- Strong understanding of healthy vocal technique and age-appropriate instruction.
- Experience teaching styles such as pop, musical theatre, worship, classical, or contemporary commercial music.
- Comfort working with kids, teens, and adult beginners.
- Strong communication skills and a kind, encouraging teaching style.
- Reliable high-speed internet and a basic online teaching setup, including a computer, webcam, headphones, and a quality microphone.
- Access to a keyboard or piano for demonstrations during lessons is a plus.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Compensation & How to Apply
- Type: Part-time, independent contractor (1099).
- Location: Remote. Voice 360 is based in Florida, and our students are located across the United States.
- Pay: You set your preferred hourly teaching rate.
