A leading manufacturer of mission-critical cooling and HVAC solutions is seeking a Test Engineering Supervisor to lead its engineering test and validation laboratory. This role will oversee lab operations, supervise testing personnel, coordinate product validation activities, and ensure compliance with industry standards and certifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily laboratory operations and testing activities.
- Schedule and oversee product performance and customer witness testing.
- Develop custom test procedures and testing equipment when required.
- Maintain laboratory equipment, calibrations, and certifications.
- Generate test reports and communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of engineering, testing, or technical experience.
- Hands-on HVAC testing, commissioning, or service experience.
- Knowledge of refrigerants, HVAC systems, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, piping diagrams, and electrical schematics.
- EPA 608 certification (or ability to obtain) preferred.
Preferred Experience
- HVAC, precision cooling, data center, or mission-critical cooling experience.
- Lab management or supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of AHRI, ASHRAE, UL, ISO, DOE, and CEC standards.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
Pay: $95,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
