Project Superintendent– Paving / Concrete
Straight Line Management, LLC is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented Project Superintendent – Paving / Concrete to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of concrete, paving, and hardscape construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field and possess strong organizational, technical, and communication skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with the planning and coordination of concrete, paving, and paver installation projects.
- Review construction plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel.
- Track project schedules, material deliveries, labor requirements, costs, and project progress.
- Assist with estimating quantities for concrete, pavers, reinforcement, base materials, and other project materials.
- Perform site visits and monitor work for quality, safety, and compliance with project specifications.
- Maintain project documentation, daily reports, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and inspection records.
- Identify project concerns and assist with resolving scheduling, design, quality, or field-related issues.
- Ensure work is completed according to approved plans, applicable codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Support project closeout activities, including punch-list completion and final documentation.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required.
- Experience with concrete, paving, civil construction, flatwork, or hardscape projects preferred.
- Knowledge of construction plans, specifications, materials, and project scheduling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project.
- Experience with construction management or estimating software is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project deadlines.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, reinforcement, paving, drainage, grading, and paver installation.
- OSHA 10- or OSHA 30-hour certification is preferred.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $77,362.89 per year
