Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Provides direct, professional nursing care to residents utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Records and reports pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents to provider and care team.
- Performs evaluation of new and existing residents to determine priority and suitability of treatment and /or need for modifications.
- Delegates medical acts to LPN’s and CNA’s in accordance with the Wisconsin Board of Nursing rules
- Provides resident education when needed.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelors or Associate Degree in nursing, Wisconsin Licensed Registered Nurse
- CPR and Basic Life Support Certified
- Must successfully pass all applicable background checks and drug screens.
- FCP complies with all CDC vaccine and testing recommendations for healthcare professionals. Proof of immunizations is required and immunizations/testing provided upon hire.
Preferred qualifications:
- Two or more years patient care experience in a medical setting
- Previous experience in a long-term care setting
