POSITION TITLE: Clerk V - Wraparound Services (part-time, temporary)
DEPARTMENT: Advising

PRIMARY LOCATION: Fall River, MA
POSITION STATUS: This is a part-time, temporary, non-unit professional without benefits not to exceed 18.5 hours per week.
SALARY: $28.70/hr
STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The Temporary Clerk V, Wraparound Services - Food Pantry will help launch a new Food Pantry on the Fall River Campus, opening to students in Fall 2026, and will work with the Project Assistant to coordinate efforts with the Mobile Food Market. This role requires strong attention to detail, follow-through, and a commitment to dignified, inclusive service, using college systems and data entry to oversee daily pantry operations, plan events, order food and supplies, track orders, supervise work-study student employees, and support reporting. Additional duties include maintaining campus food lockers, responding to pantry-related emails, scheduling appointments, greeting visitors, assisting with partner organization paperwork, and working closely with the Director of Wraparound Services and Associate Director of Student Advocacy on grant and program reporting. The Clerk V also answers questions from students, staff, faculty, and the public in person, by phone, and by email, maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a welcoming environment that reflects Bristol's commitment to equity and inclusion.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONEIBILITIES:
- Work within appropriate guidelines to assist in the procurement and implementation of software to track and monitor food pantry inventory

Collaborate with Clerk V, Wraparound Services, Basic Needs Support Coordinator, Associate Director, Student Advocacy to coordinate efforts between the Food Pantry and the Mobile Food Market to create a more student-centered process

Communicate with other Massachusetts community college food pantries to discuss best practices

Work with procurement to purchase necessary furniture and furnishings for the food pantry

Establish working relationships with vendors to provide essential items for the food pantry

Identify a student staffing model that will provide adequate pantry coverage

Create procedure manuals and training for student employees working in the food pantry

Manage day to day operations of the food pantry including inventory, ordering of supplies, stocking and distribution

Maintain safe, welcoming, and inclusive program environments

Track and analyze program usage data (food pantry, special initiatives)

Assist in the development of assessment tools and evaluation of program effectiveness

Contribute to monthly and annual reports related to grants, services, and program outcomes

Support partnerships with community organizations and service providers

Collaborate with Special Programs Coordinator, Basic Needs to ensure seamless service delivery

Assist with coordination of resources and services for students

Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social work, education, or related field*

Previous experience in program coordination, student services, or basic needs-related work*
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience shall be considered
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience managing a food pantry or similar program

Experience working in higher education, preferably at a community college

Experience supervising student employees

Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese preferred)
