Pay: $18.50/hour + Comprehensive Benefits with eligibility following 30 days of employment
Are you in recovery and passionate about helping others begin or sustain their journey? We’re looking for a Recovery Coach who brings lived experience, empathy, and strength to support individuals and families navigating Substance Use Disorder.
In this role, you’ll serve as a mentor, advocate, and connector—helping clients access resources, build recovery plans, and find hope in their path forward. Your voice and experience will make a difference every day.

As a Recovery Coach, you’ll support clients through connection, guidance, and advocacy:
Client Support & Recovery Planning
- Partner with clients to develop individualized recovery plans
- Help identify goals, strengths, and recovery resources
- Collaborate with clinicians, case managers, and care teams to support treatment plans
Community Engagement & Advocacy
- Serve as a bridge between clients and the recovery community
- Attend community events and recovery meetings to build connections and awareness
- Support and evaluate community recovery resources and identify gaps
Collaboration & Teamwork
- Participate in team meetings and contribute insights from a lived-experience perspective
- Work alongside providers and community partners to ensure coordinated care
- Support clients receiving MAT and other services in alignment with care guidelines
Outreach & Program Growth
- Build relationships with community partners and referral sources
- Assist with outreach efforts and share information about available services
- Provide recommendations to strengthen programs through feedback and quality improvement processes
- High school diploma or equivalent required (bachelor’s preferred)
- Lived experience in substance use and recovery with at least 2 years of sobriety required
- Peer Recovery Support (PRS) certification (or willingness to obtain)
- CCAR certification preferred
- Experience working with individuals or families in recovery preferred
- Ability to build trust and inspire hope through shared experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commitment to maintaining appropriate professional boundaries
- Passion for advocacy, education, and community engagement
- Valid, unrestricted driver’s license with a good driving record
- Current automobile insurance
