Sr. Client Service Advisor – Financial Planning
Midwest Financial Planning Group is seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Service Advisor to support our Private Wealth Advisors and Paraplanners in delivering comprehensive financial planning and exceptional client service. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys managing client relationships, coordinating financial planning activities, and ensuring follow-through recommendations.
The Sr. Client Service Advisor plays a key role in enhancing the overall client experience by supporting financial planning, insurance planning, meeting preparation, opportunity management, and service execution. This position reports to the Director of Client Service and works closely with advisors and internal operations teams.

The Sr. Service Advisor will be responsible for a wide variety of financial planning, relationship management, and client case preparation that we provide for our clients. In collaboration with our Senior Lead Advisors and Paraplanners, this individual will focus on several key areas of the client experience including, but not limited to, financial planning and case preparation, insurance planning, client presentations, client service and follow-through. This person will report to the Director of Client Services.
Essential duties:
FINANCIAL PLANNING & RECOMMENDATIONS
· Reviewing and revising financial plans, agendas, and illustrations for client meetings
· Collection and documentation of client information in or before meetings may include but is not limited to getting updated statements before meetings, completing FF documentation, and more.
· Provide input on planning strategies and recommendations to be presented to the prospects
· Preparing needed paperwork for Lead Advisors (LA) and Senior Lead Advisors (SLA) that will be needed for client meetings
· Develop the financial plan and work with clients to full implementation
OPPORTUNITY MANAGEMENT
· Continuously review their respective Senior Lead Advisor’s case load of open opportunities.
· Act as a project manager for open client opportunities, both in ensuring progress is occurring as it should,
· Function as the communication bridge between the Operations Department and the Private Wealth Advisors
CLIENT SERVICE
· Lead client review meetings for ongoing planning and relationship management (25% of role).
· Participates in partner led new client and review meetings to assist in case preparation, strategic planning, documentation and follow up (75% of role).
· Follow up with Client Service Associates and clients as needed for execution on planning or service items, additional information, or any other requests of the LA or SLA
· Develop and enhance client relationships with the firm through service and planning interactions held face to face, via email or phone
TEAM DUTIES
· Actively participate in team meetings to positively impact the culture, productivity, and expertise of the team
· Maintain and ensure compliance through all actions taken throughout your role
· Maintain relative continuing education (CE) for all active licenses and designations
· Provide backup support for insurance service, new business, and financial planning as needed
· Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
· Bachelor's Degree required
· 5+ years of experience in a financial institution
· CFP required and other designations including but not limited to RICP and CLU preferred
· SIE, Series 6 or 7 & 63 required
· Ohio Life & Health License required
· Good range of financial services knowledge and ability to expand that range
· Clear communication skills, particularly in explaining financial principles and concepts and being able to communicate that face to face, over the phone or via email
· Strong attention to financial detail
· Professional office skills
· Ability to take independent action to make sound decisions
· Ability to multi-task
· Ability to work effectively with people

· Salary: $75,000 - $115,000 base salary, commensurate with experience; performance-based bonus opportunities as well.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
