All Star Electric is looking to hire on an Electrical Superintendent. In this role you will oversee and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for supervising field personnel, coordinating daily jobsite operations, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards.
The Electrical Superintendent will serve as a leader on the jobsite and work closely with project managers, foremen, subcontractors, and clients to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed on schedule and within budget.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and electrical drawings.
- Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and jobsite logistics.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Conduct jobsite meetings and communicate project expectations clearly.
- Identify and resolve jobsite issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with project managers and office staff to support project success
- Train, mentor, and develop field employees
Qualifications
- Electrical supervisory or superintendent experience
- Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices
- Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities simultaneously
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred but not required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- Ability to stand, walk, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work on active construction sites in varying weather conditions
