Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, craft beers, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair.
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols.
- Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; handle cashing out customers efficiently.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed to ensure seamless service.
- Develop new beverage recipes and craft innovative cocktails that align with current trends and guest preferences.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to coordinate service flow during busy hours and support overall team efforts in delivering excellent hospitality.
Experience
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or high-volume settings; hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beer styles, and beverage recipe development.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions accurately.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while maintaining professionalism.
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking between serving drinks, handling cash, and maintaining cleanliness.
- Experience in food service or restaurant environments that require food safety awareness and adherence to sanitation standards.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, retail math for inventory management, and understanding food industry operations.
