Job Summary
Commercial property maintenance business with over 25 years of service is seeking a hardworking, reliable, and skilled General Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, arrives on time, and can assist skilled trades with various tasks while maintaining a clean and safe job site. Must be open to night labor as certain jobs need to be completed after store operating hours. You will be responsible for loading/unloading equipment, operating tools, and work completion at various commercial job sites. This is a great opportunity for a dependable individual looking for consistent work. Work is done in shopping plazas throughout MA & NH. Valid drivers license and clean driving record required. Our customers are based across New England, primarily in the greater Boston area. We are located 2 minutes off I93 at Exit 4. Depending on the day and job needs you will start your day at the shop in Londonderry, NH. In work vehicle with appropriate tools you will drive to site and complete tasks which could include but not limited to:
Power Washing
Parking lot and surface preparation
Bollard removal and/or install
Banner removal and/or install
Fence install and repair
Pot Holes repairs
Catch basin repairs
Concrete patching
Painting
Sign work
Ceiling tile replacement
Trash picking
Snow removal with Bobcat and/or plow truck
Key Responsibilities
- Punctuality: Maintain a 100% attendance rate, arriving early or on time, ready to work at the designated start time
- Dependability: Follow through on tasks without constant supervision and complete assignments efficiently
- Responsibility: Take ownership of tools, equipment, and materials, ensuring they are properly secured and maintained
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift, carry, and push materials weighing up to 50–80 lbs consistently throughout the day
- Technical Aptitude: Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to use, basic hand and power tools
- Reliable Transportation: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from shop
Preferred/Must Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or general labor
- Experience operating specialized machinery (scissor lift, skid steer, power washer, etc.)
- Ability to properly and safely load, unload and drive flat bed and box trailers
