Job Title: Overnight House Supervisor
Schedule: Overnight Shift 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Full-Time
Job Summary:
The Overnight House Supervisor is responsible for supervising Home Health Aides during overnight hours, ensuring quality resident care, addressing staffing needs, and maintaining compliance with facility policies and procedures. This role serves as the primary point of contact for overnight operations and staff support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee overnight Home Health Aide operations
- Ensure the delivery if high-quality resident care
- Ensure appropriate staff coverage
- Perform regular follow-up and communication with Home Health Aides and clients to ensure quality service and address concerns promptly.
- Maintain thorough and accurate records, including shift reports, incident documentation, and operational logs.
- Coordinate staffing needs by assisting with schedule modifications, call-outs, and emergency coverage to ensure uninterrupted client care.
- Provide ongoing supervision, mentorship, training, and constructive performance feedback to staff members.
- Monitor compliance with all company policies, safety protocols, infection control standards, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; healthcare-related certification preferred
- Previous experience as a home health aide, CNA, or similar role required
- Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations
- Knowledge of home care regulations and best practices
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel if necessary
