Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with their orders at the front counter or dine-in area, as well as phone orders
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Assist back of house staff as needed, including cleaning or dishwashing
- Ensure timely service by managing multiple orders simultaneously with effective time management skills
- Requirements
- Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments preferred, with a strong background in food service and cashiering
- Knowledge of POS systems is highly desirable
- Culinary experience or food handling knowledge is a plus, demonstrating understanding of sanitation and safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Experience in food preparation, bussing, serving, and food industry operations preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
