Job Summary
Rochester Mills Beer Co. has been serving made from scratch food and beer since 1998. We are currently looking for a kitchen manger to assist in day to day operations under our chef and sous chef. Applicants should have strong line cook abilities as well as a minimum of one year in a supervisory role.
Responsibilities
- Assist the management team with all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Monitor stock levels, and minimize waste to optimize food costs.
- Supervise kitchen staff through effective training, coaching, and development initiatives to promote skill enhancement and team cohesion.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards to maintain a safe working environment.
- Coordinate shift management by assigning tasks, and ensuring smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver excellent customer service and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Maintain food production processes aligned with restaurant standards, including catering or banquet services when necessary.
- Lead by example in fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes teamwork, hospitality, and professionalism.
Qualifications
- One year of supervisory or management experience
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience with staff training, and team development skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations as well as food allergens.
- Good leadership skills
Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
