Local Polyethylene Foam Manufacturer seeks a Production Manager for our Fremont Ohio location. Plastics manufacturing and extrusion expertise is required. Experience working with PE foam products, perforators, and other support equipment is a plus. Mechanical ability require. In this role you will be responsible for all extrusion operations. As a Production Manager you are accountable for the output, quality, cost, and safety performance of the manufacturing production area. You will manage production supervisors and hourly workforce teams, own production schedules, and departmental budgets, and oversee shipping as the primary operational leader for the production of the plant.
Must have experience managing in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with 25+ employees. Quality training with ISO/Six Sigma training preferred. Familiarity with Lean practices, experience with safety, environmental regulations, and employee training required. You will lead and monitor the production of multiple departments at the facility while working to improve existing procedures and practices.
Compensation - $75,000 to 85,000 depending on experience.
Bonuses annually
Weekly hours from 40 to 50 hours depending on projects , with some on call.
